Our Story

William and Esther met at school over 13 years ago, though it took some convincing for Esther to be interested. Her initial assessment of Will was, in her words, “a bit of a knob.” To Will’s credit, he’s experienced a significant amount of personal growth since then.

Several years followed, shaped by long distance and determined commitment — Will at university in Nottingham while Esther was in Bristol, then later Will in London and Esther in Sedgley. When Covid hit, everything shifted, and Will moved back to the Midlands.

House hunting soon followed… along with Nellie.

Eventually, they found their home in Worcester and promptly renovated it back to brick, spending evenings and weekends covered in dust, debating paint colours and learning far more about plastering than either had planned.

The most recent addition to the family is Sully.

Somehow, through distance, dust, dogs, determination and Will’s dyslexia, it all worked out.

As Taylor Swift puts it in Lover: “Can I go where you go? Can we always be this close?”

Dress code

Formal – patterns and colours welcome. We’d love guests to dress formally for the day; suits, dresses and occasion wear encouraged.

Be present, but feel free to capture

We want the day to feel relaxed and present, while still capturing the moments we might otherwise miss.

We absolutely welcome photos throughout the day.

We kindly ask that guests avoid taking photos during meaningful moments when our photographer is working. This helps ensure clear views for everyone and uninterrupted professional photography.

We’ll also be sharing our professional photos after the wedding. We’d love you to share the moment with your eyes rather than through a screen.

We’ll have a few HD camcorders floating around during the day.

If you’re happy to help, feel free to take one for a short section and capture anything you think we’d love to look back on.

It won’t be polished or professional — just authentic moments we might otherwise miss.
